Brett and I were so excited for this wedding to take place. Brett and TJ have been friends from Simpson and we have known both of them from The Stirring. I did their engagements right before we moved to San Diego and that just made it all the harder to wait for their wedding. They are the funnest couple to be around with such a pure heart for serving the Lord and those around them. They are so in love and were so excited to get married. Little did they know when choosing a day in May to get married that they would be choosing one of the HOTTEST days of the summer. Well, that is Redding for you. Thankfully you can’t tell from these pictures, but it was 101 degrees outside and seemed to get hotter as the day progressed. Brett and I were drenched in sweat all day long. That didn’t stop any of us from enjoying the day, but wow it was hot. I felt sorry for the groomsmen, but they held in there with smiles all day long.![]()
TJ and Holly, you are an amazing and blessed couple. I hope you had a great time on your honeymoon. Brett and I wish you all the best going forth into this blessed union and we hope to stay in touch with you both ok? Thank you for letting us be a part of your day. It meant so much to us both, but I know for sure that for Brett this was a true gift to be there for TJ. Thanks guys, God has awesome things in store for you as a married couple!
The day was coordinated by the amazing Jamie Hartley who did a FABULOUS job. Everything ran so smoothly and always on time. I recommend her to all of my brides in Redding or in San Diego – she is worth it!!! If you want to contact her, let me know. The event took place at TBS Ranch in Redding, CA – it had a great rustic, yet beautiful feel that we took full advantage of.

Some of my most favorite Ring shots Brett has captured yet. So fun!

TJ and Holly opted for the “Special moment” so we were able to capture all portraits before Ceremony. Anticipation!!!

Look at Holly’s adoring gaze to her future husband.

Who doesn’t want a picture with the outhouses?

Holly was so excited about the tractors and equipment all over the place so we had to do a pose with one of them at least.![]()

Yes, Holly would do anything for the camera and the guys’ expressions are great too.

This was captured while the girls were cooling off right before the ceremony. I loved the mother-of-the-bride’s expression of adoration and pride of her daughter. Precious.

Just like in 27 Dresses, my favorite part of the entire ceremony is the look of the Groom when his Bride starts walking towards him.

They got married under the Huppa which is a Jewish tradition, but one that symbolizes God’s covering and protection over the couple brought together under His name. I LOVE it!
They wanted to take a few shots after ceremony to capture some of that amazing light.

Of course Brett can’t seem to take a picture without his tongue hanging out. Gotta love him!![]()

Congratulations TJ and Holly!!!
