We are a husband and wife wedding and portrait photographers team. Yup, we do this full time and love what we do! We get to tell the story of amazing couples who are ridiculously in love! Our goal is to turn your love into art through modern editorial and romantic portrait imagery.

Emily is a city girl, sushi lover, film connoisseur, and a hopeless romantic. Brett is a mountain boy, day dreamer, numbers nerd, and not quite as romantic. We prove that opposites attract.

We are the proud parents of our adorable toddler North, and our puppy Teryx.

Joe and Marie – a VERY fun engagement shoot

Joe and Marie are getting married this July. We fell in love with them right when we first met them. They are a couple that knows what they love and they know how to have fun. I told them to think of things for the shoot that would characterize them as individuals and as a couple. They totally got creative and I love what they came up with. Joe is a pilot so he asked if we could shoot at the USS Midway with all of the vintage plains on the deck. LOVED that idea! So, with Joe being a pilot we really tried to incorporate the sky a lot as well and fortunately the San Diego skies were gorgeous despite the call for rain that day. Then they also requested the beach, so we went to Coronado for the sunset. This couple also loves animals and their wedding reception is actually going to be at the ZOO. They are huge Star Wars fans, He is a Red Sox fan and she is an Angels fan which we also incorporated into the shoot. Not to mention that they totally know how to strike some sizzling poses. They were so much fun and they had us laughing the entire time. You can tell that their love for each other is very strong and together they are just too cute for words.

See, I told you they love animals. There was a homeless guy at the park we were at walking around with this beautiful green bird. We passed him and Marie lit up and asked if we could take some pictures with the bird. And so we did…
